The people affiliated with the Child and Family Resesarch Lab in the University of Hawai`i, Manoa, are comprised of faculty, staff and students with an interest in the well-being and families and children, both in the United States and Internationally.

(University of Washington, 2009). Research interest include Health/ Mental health, neighborhood contexts, immigration, community practice, multicultural practices with diverse populations, research methodology, and quantitative research methods.

Rebecca Stotzer, MSW, Ph.D.

(University of Michigan, 2006).  Research interests include hate crimes and prejudice motivated violence, sexuality and gender identity, social policy and institutions, oppression and social justice, and intergroup conflict.

(University of Maryland, 2014).  Research interests include Maternal and child health and mental health; Teen pregnancy and parenting; Child maltreatment; Attachment; Early childhood intervention; Qualitative and quantitative research methods; Intervention research.

Meripa T. Godinet, MSW, Ph.D.

(University of Washington, 1998). Research interests include juvenile delinquency prevention, social and adjustment issues of Pacific Islander adolescents, disproportionality in juvenile justice and child welfare system, bias crimes among adolescents and women.
